The print was made from a watercolour pencil drawing that I made in 2011, and I think it has quite a folk art feel to it. It features a ramshackle little log cabin hidden away deep in a woodland grove. Who lives here? Perhaps an old hermit lady who wants to live peacefully in the woods away from noise and chatter, and who may or may not be disguised in the form of a large black cat sitting on the doorstep...
The print is made with fade resistant Epson Durabrite Ultra inks on Epson Archival Matte Photo paper. Archival Matte is a sturdy 192 g/m2 and 0.26mm thick and gives a wonderfully clear, vibrant and durable reproduction of my original artwork.
Each print will come to you protectively packed in a cello sleeve and a hardbacked envelope.
(The photos show the truest reproduction of colour I can manage but of course, please take into account that colours can look slightly different on each computer screen.)
